Our History 

The Company was founded in 1996 by George Pendry. Discovering a passion for powder coating he started doing custom work and became known for his quality. Eventually he was able to convert his hobby into a full time business and opened his building to corporate level clients. 

Since then the company has only grown, creating jobs and bringing money into the local economy. Mr. Pendry passes on his experience to his employees, teaching them the skills needed to powder coat and all the tricks of the trade.

Our devotion to quality and serving specific needs has only become more focused as time goes on. Being able to coat specialty parts and create proprietary methods for the best quality is what sets us above the rest. We will always work with our customers to create custom color matches, custom powder mixes, and give them the best quality finished product possible.

Lake City Powder Coating LLC was built from the ground up through hard work and determination. On top of that groundwork sits a thriving business that started as a garage hobby. Although George Pendry passed away in 2019, Lake City Powder Coating continues with his legacy to ensure every customer gets what was promised.
